Orange Edition
What a weekend! I feel like I’ve accomplished so much yet I still have so many things on my “To Do” List. Anyone else feel that way at the end of the day on Sunday?
For my next edition of Friday Night Lights: What to Wear I thought it would only be fitting to represent the colors of the hubby’s school! I mean, because Orange IS the New Black, right? (sorry, couldn’t resist 😉 ) Oh, and quick spoiler, I saved the best for last! 😉 So make sure to read the entire post! Let’s go!
Tee-am Work
My ABSOLUTE favorite “go to” tee is the Madewell Whisper Cotton V-Neck Pocket Tee. It’s available year round, is less than $20, and comes in ALL the colors. I currently own 4 different colors of this tee and, I can promise you, more colors ARE in my future! 😉
Orange Prep
I’m always on the look out for a good orange tank that I can wear to games earlier in the season here in the Texas heat. I found this J. Crew tank this summer and I absolutely LOVE it! The bright orange, button up and tie front take this normal tank to a new level. Oh, and did I mention it’s SO comfy and currently on sale! You’re welcome! 😉
Faux-get Me Not
Who says that you can’t wear faux leather leggings to sporting events? I’m fairly certain that I wore leggings to multiple games last year. They are very comfy! My favorite leggings are the Spanx Faux Leather Leggings! I may own three pair…. 🙂 I’m currently in love with the Faux Leather Moto Leggings pictured below. Pair them with your favorite tunic (like the orange one from Old Navy), your favorite sneakers and, just like that, you are “sporty chic”.
Hoping for Fall
Fall is supposedly coming to Texas tonight! When I think of fall I think of football, cool weather, pumpkin spice and plaid. I mean, don’t we all? 😉 I love a good plaid shirt and this rust orange version from Madewell is on point! Pair it with your favorite black jeans (these are also from Madewell and let me just say…oh my word, they are amazing!) and favorite booties and you have the perfect Friday night in the fall look!
Boho Chic
Have you ever worn a top that just makes you want to frolic through a field of flowers? No, just me? Well, this Free People Lina Lace top is just that! I LOVE the lace flower detail and the flowy hem! Oh, and, did I mention it’s perfect for fall? Pair it with your favorite skinny jeans, bralette/cami and booties and then frolic in the end zone after the game (or not)! 🙂
My Favorite Accessories
Hopefully you are still around, because I’ve definitely saved the best for last! 🙂 My favorite orange accessories are without a doubt the Free People Adella Bralette and my TeamRLN earrings! Ahh, I just can’t get enough of them! Team RLN has a few different options in their Team Colors shop to choose from, including these “Touch Down” earrings that you can order in almost every color combination imaginable! I have some special earrings coming my way and plan to have one post dedicated to TeamRLN earrings in the near future (yes, I love them that much!).
